When I first saw the thumbnail (of this photo), I thought I was seeing some pink dandelions that got blown everywhere in the strong winds or some pink fireworks that truly exploded in all directions like mad. Taking a good look at the photo in full view, I realized that the water was kicking off the day by hitting hard against the shoreline. Hence, the large, spherical-like splashes in the color of pink!

The appearance of the pink color is definitely perfect timing since the hues from the sunrise is directly reflected on the water. Such reflection is definitely quite profound through the firework-like splashes. Boom! Boom! Just like fireworks!

The water spray from the splashes is so detailed that mist can be seen in the midst of numerous shooting water pieces that go everywhere. And there are some small clusters of water shooting out along with the shooting water pieces. Everything seems to happen simultaneously, as in a concerted effort from the breaking wave.

I can see that one of the splashes has been cut off on the top. And I can hardly see the shoreline. The view of the water seems a bit limited. Moving back just a little bit would include the splashes in complete view, as well as the shoreline and the water from the lake.

Seeing something like this is definitely interesting, as well as exciting. Not all the splashes would be the same every time the water hits the shoreline. Sometimes the splashes would appear small and quite dull, and other times the splashes would give a 'show' by appearing quite large and so colorful that they're quite captivating. Just like these pom pom-like splashes! This is no different from the appearance of fireworks against the night sky!

The title for this photo, Sunrise Splash, could not have been more fitting! And I have to laugh because I think a good, big splash of cold water is one of the best ways to wake non-morning people up during the crack of the dawn! <img src="e.deviantart.com/emoticons/l/l…" width="15" height="15" alt="" title="LOL" />
