Early morning view of Lake Michigan from the shoreline of Cave Point County Park in Door County, Wisconsin. A serene and peaceful day is the anomaly here and I have never seen the underwater formations off the shore so vividly before. Normally waves are crashing onto the limestone shelf and booming into the caves [actually sculpted from the limestone bluffs by this continuous action]. Standing above the caves can be pretty invigorating when the waves are rolling in... you can be nearly knocked from your feet from the wave impact below.
