We discovered this drive on the previous night on our way into Moab when we caught only the last of that sunset which lit up several of the red rock faces along the Colorado River. We got an early start at Canyonlands: getting there way before sunrise and chasing down some full moon landscapes... but we knew we wanted to return to this area for sunset.
