Description

We haven't had very many medium and large butterflies in the area since the floods 13 months ago [except Monarchs and Swallowtails]... but the diminutive skippers seem to have bounced back.

Photographed in an open field near our house... evening light.

Overall nicely done, a little harsh on the contrast in areas but still a good shot. The noise in the background bothers me a tad, I would run that through some noise reduction and layer mask and paint the areas of detail back in with a brush on the butterfly.

Nice depth, focus, exposure, well done as far as that goes. I really like the sense of light in this shot, really adds nice atmosphere. Good choice of an angle as well.

Over all I would say it is pretty solid shot, not much you can especially do to better it other than what I suggested.
