Skipper butterfly [probably a Dion Skipper] in an empty field near our home. Chasing after these diminutive butterflies has become a new passion. Last night we went early to our favorite sunset site [the clouds looked spectacular all day] and we spent a couple hours shooting small flowers and insects along the shoreline of Lake Wisconsin... we didn't really mind when the sunset didn't live up to its potential.

Thanks... and thank you for "ID"ing these little butterflies. We found a pretty good website and picked up a field guide for moths and butterflies but I've taken photos of other butterflies that I can't find. I'll change the info on these two shots and if you ever see any others in my gallery that you can identify... please do!!!
