Post sunset at Peninsula State Park in Door County, about an hour and a half north of Green Bay. My wife coming in from the "shove" [the locals' word for an ice field that's pushed to the shoreline]. The conditions were ultra icy and the light was going fast... so I retraced my steps and only walked where I'd walked before [lots of large ice blocks buried under yesterday's blowing snow].
Oh, my gosh... this is absolutely beautiful. I love the colors. And this is just outside of Green Bay? I may have to make a special trip sometime to visit this place. Of all the years I've seen winter, I have never seen anything as stunning as this.
You have really captured a gorgeous side of winter in spite of the bitter cold. I just can't find the words to describe this deviation other than absolutely beautiful and very breath-taking.
Overall, I give you 5 stars for vision, 5 stars for originality, 5 stars for technique, and 5 stars for imapct.
