We took "a road less traveled", at least by us, on our way into Moab. We had no idea what to expect but we started to get glimpses of an incredible sunset but it was a few miles before we found a place to pull over and break out our photography gear. As I extended my tripod I watched the peak of the sunset's reflective glow disappearing from the faces of the red rock leaving but traces of the glory we had beheld in the previous moments. We vowed to be back the next night.
The Colorado River alongside Highway 128, about 20 miles from Moab, Utah. 8 second exposure.
Definitely a beautiful region !
