The Seth Peterson cottage was Frank Lloyd Wright's last commission and neither Mr. Wright nor Mr. Peterson lived to see the finished project.

I envy to you, because you could see some of F.L.W. works. Point of architecture for me is space, and all that your senses can fell when you experienced it. The feeling what you have when you are next to something like this. I can only look at this pic, but I can't really tell is this great or what it is. But you, can do that a little. I like F.L.W. because using a natural materials for this kind of works and not changing it.
Hope you to see more of this:)
All the best;)

Thank you!!! Mister Wright's work is probably the pivotal point in the field of architecture and we here in the Midwest have access to his school and residence plus several of his commissioned works. Before moving to Wisconsin I lived in the western suburbs of Chicago which also features several of his buildings [one of my bosses lived in a "carriage" house by FLW in North Riverside]. Hopefully I will someday get around to shooting some more photos of his stunning work.

Seeing this example of Mr. Wright's work brings home to me where many of the designs of today came from. I work for an Architectural Millwork Company and we have worked on many homes which still carry his themes.
