It's been over three months since my last upload on dA. I also haven't kept up with correspondences. Hopefully... I'm back.
We've been doing quite a lot of shooting and processing... so I'll probably drop quite a few shots into dA shortly.

This is the most recent shot that I've processed... it was shot a few weeks ago in our backyard at the edge of the woods. I set up a bird feeder and have a pine bough attached to encourage the birds to land in the most efficacious place for me to capture their portraits. I've recently started to use the background bokeh as an additional element in my work. The setup here is three tripods, the camera on one with an adjustable strobe set at the second lowest setting and two additional strobes set the same way [sometimes I have the three strobes separate from camera so then I use an extra trigger. Remote triggers on all three strobes and camera and an additional one with which I control the whole thing. I also recommend rechargeable batteries.
